About Me
Kendra A. Turner, M.S.Ed.
Educational Therapist and Founder
Hi! My name is Kendra Turner and I am a student success advocate and learning strategist with over two decades of experience. As a skilled interventionist, I have extensive expertise in structured literacy and special education. I have a passion for supporting diverse learners and am deeply committed to promoting equity and access. I believe the ability to read and write competently and confidently is one of the greatest predictors of future student success.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Special Education, and a post-graduate certificate in Behavior Analysis and Therapy. My experience spans both in-person and virtual settings and I advocate for student-centered and data-driven instruction. I am a certified teacher in both Florida and Michigan and have served students as a classroom teacher, district specialist, consultant, and speaker.
At the heart of my practice is a desire to see all students succeed. I am passionate about community building and aspire to establish a non-profit literacy clinic in the future. When I am not advocating for literacy education, I love spending quality time with family and friends, reading books, attending concerts, and hunting vintage treasures.
